RECOVER-E: Implementation

RECOVER-E initiates the development and implementation of multidisciplinary community mental health teams consisting of psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, social workers, and peer workers, i.e. people with lived experience) to deliver care to people with severe mental illness. The multidisciplinary community mental health teams provide treatment based on a locally adapted version of the Flexible Assertive Community Treatment (F-ACT) service delivery model. Both the service delivery approach and the interventions delivered within the CMHTs are evidence-based. The teams are being developed through a comprehensive capacity building approach consisting of training, goal setting and roadmaps for implementation, and ongoing mentoring and supervision.
